Abigail Carlson is the content and comms lead at 1kx, where she spearheads portfolio communications, editorial services, and content operations. As a member of the Platform team, she also provides advisory services to the portfolio on marketing, PR and branding related needs. She began her web3 career at Celo, where she focused on social and product marketing. She then moved to ConsenSys Mesh, where she set up the editorial function and worked closely with the R&D team to spotlight technical research developments. Prior to web3, she worked in International Development in Washington D.C. and for a Brooklyn-based e-commerce company. She is an active member of several DAOs and has advised and consulted with multiple web3 projects in the public goods and consumer landscapes. Outside of work, she’s a big fan of ultralight backpacking, fresh ceviche, art museums, and losing herself in a good read.
