Clare is a Managing Director on the capital formation team at 1kx, focused on the firm’s limited partner relationships as well as its strategy and execution in raising capital . Prior to 1kx, she has accumulated over a decade of experience working in venture capital and private equity, across capital formation and investment. She was previously the Head of Investor Relations for Genesis Capital, a tech-focused growth equity fund. Before Genesis, she was an investor at a consumer-focused private equity fund and the founding team member of a tech start up. She began her career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley. Clare holds a B.A. in Economics from University of Michigan. She is currently enrolled at Harvard Business School ("HBS") for the Program Leadership Development, the HBS alternative to the EMBA.
